This little guy I call Bicycle Bee. He's made out of an old movie reel case, jar lids, poker chips, beer coasters, wood beads, dominoes, nuts and bolts and bottlecaps. Just one of my many assemblages I've created for fun in my spare time.
A little bit about me.
I’ve loved making things for as long as I can remember. After spending most of my high school years planted in the art room, I went on to study advertising and design at CCAD, where I deepened both my creative skills and strategic thinking.
Today, I wear many hats—mother, wife, entrepreneur, farmer, and freelance graphic designer—and art and design weave their way through all of them. I’m drawn to thoughtful, well-crafted work and believe good design should not only be beautiful, but communicate clearly and intentionally.
As a freelance graphic designer, I focus on creating visually engaging designs that elevate and clarify a message. I especially love working with small businesses, where collaboration feels personal and meaningful. When you’re short on time or staff (as most small business owners are), I step in as a creative partner to help shape a cohesive, polished marketing presence.
At heart, I’m a maker. In addition to my design work, I run Sweet Hammer Press, where I design custom invitations and announcements for all occasions. In the moments in between, you’ll find me at Pilates, exploring art openings, traveling, or tending to our small farm—where I’m in a constant (and mostly good-natured) battle with deer and garden bugs.
